Lesson Planning

Below are a selection of lesson plans which exemplify my approach to teaching and learning. Included in the sample is one lesson plan from each unit available on the website. These plans include notes on the lesson before along with a sample of student work created in that lesson to provide context and ensure the approach is suitable to the current class environment. Each plan includes relevant artist references, and plans the resources, materials, and pacing of the lesson with a rough outline of time allotted for each activity being provided. The lesson's learning objectives, success criteria, and differentiation tactics  are clearly laid out, putting the students at the centre of the plan.
